Crystal skulls amplify energy. That is something anyone working with a crystal skulls knows and knows pretty quickly.

So... what do they amplify when you are working with one?
If you have no specific intent when working with one, (or even when you are around one for very long) then they will tend to amplify the strongest underlying (and usually unresolved) emotional issue.

You might feel emotional, overwhelmed... upset, anxious, peaceful, joyful, aggressive... any kind of emotion is possible.

It's your responsibility to know that they could do this and to be prepared. What could set your intent on it amplifying?
I suggest clarity to start with.
It's simple and it can really help anyone in a variety of situation to have clarity.
IF you have clarity, then you have a tool that is priceless.
Lots of people try to increase their psychic abilities. You probably already have some abilities, but you lack the clarity on how to use them or how to figure out what the heck something might mean, (like a dream) when it happens.

Clearing your Crystals and Skulls

I clear all of my stones before I send them, however, crystals easily absorb different kinds of vibrations, both positive and negative. The stone that you choose may have been in contact with many other personalities and energies so it is recommended that you use some kind of cleansing method to restore your stone to a pure and energized state.

There are several methods you can use that are easy to anyone to try. Here are a few:

One method that I like is to immerse the stones in salt water for a few minutes, to several hours. Most stones like this and it is very cleansing and energizing.

Or you may wish to hold the stone under running water for a few minutes. Then dry it with a soft towel.

Some people like to hold their stones and repeat a short phrase like “I ask that this stone be self cleansing and filled with love.”
That may or may not work, depending on how well you are able to focus your energy. Some people are really good at this and some people never seem to get the hang of it. Try to for yourself and see what you think.

You may prefer to smudge the stones with sage. You may light the sage and let the smoke flow over the stone, taking the energetic impurities.

Some people prefer to store their stones with sage or add in cedar, instead.

Crystals look brighter and more vibrant after being laid in the rays of the sun or moon. Time in the sun is usually about 20 minutes to several hours. Some stones fade so be careful!

A crystal skull will only need a few minutes and not in bright bright sunlight.

Time in the moonlight may be the whole night.

A note of warning: Stones that will fade in the sunlight should not be placed in the sun! These are things such as Amethyst, Smokey Quartz, Fluorite, etc. IF you don't know if they will fade, then find out!

“Programming” and working with Crystals

Programming your crystal sounds kind of strange to me, but it’s really just a simple way to ask it to be your partner for as long as the “relationship” works. It is letting it know your expectations and wishes. That doesn’t mean that you will get what you expect or wish for – you might get a lot more! This is a place to start.

Programming a crystal involves a putting the energy of our thoughts and feelings into a crystal so that it can intensify them and be a constant reminder us. Programming may be done by holding the crystal with both hands, gazing into it, richly visualizing your goal, breathing deeply and concentrating on infusing the vibrations into the crystal. Or one can use a more complicated ritual with verbal affirmations if desired. When the stone is worn on the body, it broadcasts its program continually as it is in contact with you.

Here is one way for you to work with your crystal skulls or other crystals:

The first layer of working with any skull, including Synergy, is "to remember." This is the first layer - and this layer has many other layers within it. What you are to called to remember is who you really are. It's so easy to get caught up in the daily things and forget that each life is short and sweet, even with the difficulties.
The real you is a Being of Light. You are a Spiritual Being, inside of a physical body. Remember.

Hold your skull firmly in either both hands or in just the right hand, keeping the thought of what you wish to work with in mind. The crystal receives the energies via the physical body of the person holding it, absorbs the vibrations, then amplifies them and re-broadcasts them outwards. These amplifications are received by the chakra (or receptors) in the left hand and relayed up the arm, to the brain, to a gland called the hypothalamus and or the limbic system, impressing the vibrations on the sub-conscious mind. The energy continues on, moving down to the right hand, holding the crystal. The process continues in a loop, reinforcing itself. The skull shape is thought to be especially effective in this process, as the inside back of the skull acts as a kind of satellite dish, to broadcast the vibrations of the person using it.

The “Best” way...

I think that the ‘best way’ to feel their energy and discover more about them is to throw out all the “how-to” articles and simply get some stones and do whatever you feel like doing with them. Just looking at your stones may be perfect. The articles and such are a starting point. How you interact will be perfect for you. Hold them, talk to them, place them in patterns, carry them around, display them on shelves, wear them, give them away, etc.

Whether you love the ‘rough’ (natural unpolished specimens) or admire the smooth clear polished stones, above all, enjoy and love them!

You will receive far more than you ever realized you could, if you are open to the possibilities.
