This is a high quality Petrified Wood Crystal Skull! Petrified Wood is not commonly used to carve Crystal Skulls, and so I was thrilled when I discovered this one! When becoming petrified or fossilized, various cells of the orginal plant material are replaced with minerals of various kinds, creating strange colors and patterns. If during the process it is disturbed by earthquakes or other geological activity, some unusual patterns can emerge! It has a nice calm energy to it and is just a pleasure to interact with.
